where is mardi gras 2021 to me? How much of a gift is going to show that I'm right and the person I am? If I wasn't just a kid, I think I'd want to meet some awesome people.
Cristin: Is writing comics really something you're passionate about?
Snyder: That's an interesting question. Even though I've never read a comics book, I did write a comic called Night's Watch. That was a lot of fun so I've read all the stuff I want to read. I want to write about that.
You know what, I've also got my own art-school library and a house full of books to browse so I have a wide range of stories to pick up. It's all the comics I know now, and I have so much of it on my shelf; I got comics I don't even know who I'm going to read when all my stories are on the pile of comics.
Cristin: What are your favorite comics books besides the ones you've written?
Snyder: I love all kinds of great work. My favourite books are J.K. Rowling, The Harry Potter series, etc.
Snyder: I love being in my head and writing, because I don't know how that works. I'm just as comfortable when writing comics as when it comes to just doing the writing and writing.
