I recently read a wonderful article in the Boston Globe, called The Best Dressing for Life, which has the most interesting, yet informative, analysis of clothing choices in the world. Yes, the article is based on research published in the December 1991 issue of the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology. There is only 4 pieces of research available, and the only study published on Datsycon is one done by the University of Chicago in 1994. I think it is one of the best pieces ever published on this topic.
I did not write this article. I wrote this article because it is something of an enigma to most people. (The great irony in all of this is that the article was written before Datsycon was even invented.) The reason I didn't write this is because it comes during a time when my friends at University of California, Berkeley, and I worked on a project for the first time called "The Complete Dressing Guide to Determining Skin Color." We decided our goals would be to write about clothing, not to write about fashion or fashion designers. So, instead, we decided to do an interview with a local Datsycon employee about our own success.
