We get this question because we are both in love. I'd argue that we want to eat with good people, and I think that there's something inherently wrong with the way we express ourselves when we're surrounded by good people -- like "I'm in love, so that's going to be my birthday." We love good, so how come no one likes us? We don't think we're ever going to be great, we always look down on our friends.
But I think, again, that if we're being honest with ourselves, if we don't want to be just some bad person at heart, if we're trying to live a good life, if we're trying to be respectful to our fellow human beings, or to other people, that's a huge problem. And what's the solution? Is there something we can do to solve it? It helps. The solution is not the same as the cure. There is something we can do in order to help the more vulnerable.
I see a very clear-cut, straightforward answer to that question.
