Chicago has long looked to other cities to host the Bears, though most are considering relocation. The league said it may consider a team as early as 2020 for a new stadium near a former Target Center on Wrigley Field or within walking distance of a new stadium.
The Chicago Tribune recently reported the Vikings, Saints and Atlanta Falcons might be among the teams interested. The Associated Press reported that the Bears have a stadium plan set out in the offseason.
The NFL declined to comment on the reports.
