But the second season took much more time to shoot, which eventually took the price down to $8.95. This was a huge success, and the second season of 'Game Of Thrones' season 7 was set to air next year.
The DVD is already selling for $34.95. This will be followed by a Blu-Ray and DVD release later this year.
On the flip side, we do see the possibility of the first season of Game Of Thrones hitting big screens again during the middle of winter next year, as this is the sixth season of 'Game Of Thrones' which airs on Netflix. It's possible however that that season may become longer for the UK as more people are paying for season 7. A DVD version of the first season of 'Game Of Thrones' will arrive in the US this summer.
